The script- Shape and forms

Music video scripts are not as 'narrative' as prosaic drama scripts. often take the form of grids or are formulated with columns, one for the song lyrics one for corresponding content.

Mood boards

Colours, shapes, patterns, forms and what all of these are meant to evoke.
Good- easy to feel and understand. cohesive
Bad- difficult to imagine/ portray, disjointed.

Storyboards

Usually need a basic script of some kind. more thinking about points of view the artist will feature, camera angles and camera work. people tend to hire storyboard artists to create them.

music video

Uses the light to show the passage of time through the shadows moving on the floor. props on the bed. Like a dream, jagged. Stepping on pillows, like a  journey, she is going somewhere. attracts a wider audience than what would normally listen to the music as it is different to music videos we normally see which makes it more interesting to people. Black and white in the video creates contrast. the mood board for this video would have been rather simplistic with the black and white. there also would probably have been a few pops of colour. some of the actions and lyrics almost match up while some don't.
