LO3: How production meets legal and ethical report

Our production has reflected the consideration for legal and ethical issues. An example of this is when we filmed videos in the road and we made sure to use a part of the road where their were no cars and constantly checked to make sure we were still in the clear to ensure we didn't get hit by a car while filming.  We didn't fill out or create consent forms since the group were all of age and we only included people from our group in the video. We completed a recce and a risk assessment to find any possible health and safety risks and asses the danger and it made us think about ways that we could make filming safer for us all but still get the shots that we wanted. We also emailed the artist and the record label and also direct messaged them on instagram to ask for permission to use the song so we didn't run into any copyright and ownership problems. As well as this we would also give credit to the artist and and record label at the end of the video and also in the description for the video. The song 'friends in the corner' which is the song that we chose for our video, didn't include any sexual or violent topics or and strong language. This makes it easier for our group as we don't have to edit out any words or change anything to make it appropriate. It also means that all ages are able to watch the video as it isn't inappropriate.
